Water cascades on waterfalls only when enough water is in the basin. With insufficient water, nothing happens. Marketing is like a waterfall. Many companies put inadequate effort into their marketing. When the results they need don’t happen, they are disappointed, unlikely to continue their efforts and their investment is wasted.

It's a simple fact, magazine advertising sales people don't have enough time to personally contact everyone as often as they wish. When Advertisers only hear from sales people when their schedules are up for Renewal, trust decreases and cynicism increases. This is why good marketing is critical to your surviving and thriving.
